Anyone worked during pending renewal? VAWA
Hi guys, my Combo card is expiring soon and my lawyer filed for renewal. He said once we file it, you are good to work. Still I want to ask if anyone had a similar experience with pending VAWA. I have a full time job that I will continue to work, do you guys think it’s ok? thanks

the receipt serves as a 180 days paper that you can use they cannot fire you it says it on the receipt did you lawyer get the recipet yet

@momo ham no one is firing me lol I was asking in terms of USCIS or immigration proceeds if it’s bad or not. thanks though

working while your renewal is pending is fine as long as it’s within the grace period

some have 540 days. others have 180 days. it should be on your renewal receipt notice
