I applied for VAWA in Oct 2020. I received my prima facie in January 2021 for a year. (I haven’t gotten my 2nd prima facie yet) I got my EAD in April of 2021. Biometrics in Sep 2021 NO UPDATES SINCE

congratulations s s I never received even EAD and it’s so frustrating waiting this long. done with my biometrics same year but NO UPDATES until now

@sam singh Yes I did, it’s really frustrating even EAD no update at all

With C31 you don’t get the work permit until after your I-360 is approved. C9 you can work in the interim until your I-360 gets approved.

yes, same time frame. Submitted my file in april and i did my bio in aug 30. yesterday my work permit and advance parole approved

@chinita I understand . now listen what happened with me. my lawyer applied everything right and he gave me C31 recipet for ead and told me to wait for 7-8 months. after that I got to know I’ll not get anything until my case gets approves. So I reapplied I765 myself by giving my homes address.

I applied for snap and didn’t get it due to ineligibility. something about having to be a vawa recipient for 5 years or something like that. I’m in Florida.

If you have EAD from i130 and pending i485, do you file for new i765 - C9 while filing for vawa. or do you wait and renew later?
