don’t they need your fingerprints for EAD? perhaps they reused for your I485?

@m p they never asked finger print for EAD. DON’t they notify for reuse?

if they use biometric they will let you know. My wife's biometric was about one months later than I-485 submission. I wondered you got EAD without biometric.

@K A I got EAD without fingerprinting and there was no notice they reused or skipped. and I still never informed to schdule biometrics. if anybody hear that 485 has approved buometrics? otherwise my case went twisted.

I also am in the same situation. I submitted nearly 4 months ago, still no biometrics scheduled.. 140, 765, 131 all approved already. I see people usually get biometrics scheduled within 2-3 weeks after submission. I've never done biometrics at any ASC before.. endless waiting :(

I also filed my i485, i131 and i765 in August, 2023 and still did not hear anything since then, not even biometrics. Maybe they have used my biometrics from my previous case, but they never notified me about reusing them.

Not convinced the "don't need them" is true. nobody who is saying you don't need them has had 485 approved. I'd travelled endlessly to the US but they still got biometrics. even if you didn't have them taken I'd have expected them to be attached to your case by now which is a status change.

They used my biometric from other case and it was mentioned USCIS will use my previous biometrics and no new biometric required. But asked my spouse to appear for biometric and later EAD issued both of us.

@LSW P Yes, it is 100 days now since I applied for I765 and I485. I have not recieved biometrics appointment and they have approved my I765 and got the card after 60 days. Now for I485 no news of biometrics either. I think if they see biometrics are reuseable, they do not take biometrics again….

btw @LSW P you are from which country? and what is PD?

@G L PD is 8/7/2024. I filed concurrently with I-140 and it has been aprroved Oct 2023. from South Korea.

@LSW P Don’t worry about biometrics.. we are all sailing in same boat. As per helpdesk now a days they reuse a lot! main problem is, they fail to communicate causing all anxeity

I am also in same situation. Filed 485 765 131 140 concurrent in Nov 2023, PD sep 2018. Got 140 approved in PP, EAD and AP approved for me and family. Status shows fingerprint fee received. no biometrics appointment yet

@MR A Yes. I registered mine on 5/6. it has already been more than a month. nothing happened yet though.
