so I just noticed that they put courtesy letter in my i485 online account as the document and it says about medical examination Deficiency (i693) and they want it during the interview. I am glad they are working on my file after 5 months.

Lucky you, they will schedule an interview soon, thats the next step after that notice, i as well got an update today but it was for a request for initial evidence, guess my lawyer didnt do a good job i have couple of letters more then 4 page long, keep me posted here, i as well will do

just wanna update you. I expedited my i765 on January 27th and today I got my EAD approved. Also, I got scheduled interview next month for my i485. I hope you will get yours soon. I am August 16th filer, since you filled after me, I think you will get updates on March or early April. If you believe that there is anything you can expedite, do so

a quick question, did you do ur medical yet?? any cheap reliable place out here? all the places i called are telling they dont accept insurance

unfortunately, none of them accept insurance. I went to Dr. Sitha Miller, she charged me $350, since I didn’t have my vaccination records, I went to got 4 shots. I am glad my insurance covered all vaccinations so I ended up paying $350. Just remember don’t try immidiate care one, thay one charges more than others. I just followed my friend who already did with Dr. Miller, so I didn’t really know about others, it shouldn’t be that much difference in price though

No I didn’t reschedule it. they sent the notice end of the Feb for the next month which is March. my RFE was on October, and they didn’t check it till February!

sorry been occupied. I went to the interview, it took about 30 minutes, the officer went through all i485 questions and asked about our marriage, at the end, he asked my original birth certificate (not translated one 😒) I didn’t have it so he told me he would “send RFE and it is not a big deal”, also he opened sealed i693 and he told me the doctor didn’t put the date beside her signature, btw, never ever try that doctor for your medical examination, she is not professional at all. Anyway, I sent back all the documents and it was delivered on last Friday, still no updates 🥲, but my i130 was approved the same day though. He told me if he gets the documents, it would take 10-15 days to get my GC, I hope he is right

I would say he was so straightforward and was trying to be do his job as an USCIS officer, I didn’t see any trick in his conversation, but he was trying to be nice even though his officer position didn’t let him do that much, he told me that it was fine for each missing documents I had. btw, where did you send your RFE documents? did you send them to Wichita field or NBC? how long did it take for them to update your status to recieved?

my case is still in NBC, so i had to submit it there, i over night the package to my lawyers office on march 03, the send it to NBC on March 15, it got delivered on 22nd and week later on 29th morning it changed to responce to rfe received, i have been in contact with folks with similar time line and rfe renponce way before me and still waiting, so i am not expecting anything soon for sure. However, for you since its already on a field office and specific officer is already working for it so once he gets it, he will put it on the file and Approve it 😀😀

I hope so, I hope he will do it fast, it is almost a week since they got it. Don’t worry, they do by receipt date, so since yours is October so they will do interview with you next month, doesn’t matter when you sent RFE. It happened to me and my friend. It is about 8 months after your Receipt date

yes it just sucks big time i see people with jan, feb 2022 getting approved already, at least i see the processing time from 9.5, went down to 7.5 on wichita

@bePositive Just curious, did you happen to see lots of ppl waiting for interview on ur day, or any other office conducting interview, i heard they are hella short on employees 😔😔

you happen to remember how long after the courtesy letter uploaded to your online account, the status changed? i see today they uploaded that notice on my account but status still says Rfe responce receive on 485 but my i 130 canged to actively revewing today

hey I submitted my I485 and all other documents concurrent on may 31st 2022. my field office is Wichita as well but it’s currently processing at NBC. did anyone of you got green card yet or any updates from NBC
