I also applied for 485 in 2021 and received a medical RFE on July 17th 2023 . I got an RFE after 25 months too long. Responded in August and still waiting for approval. Pray for good news for you soon too.

UPDATE GUYS:
So last Thursday I hit my second anniversary. Initially I was hopeful they could have acted before my second anniversary. Unfortunately, no action was taken. Now my first sucess is I’m now on a 10 year green road instead of two years due to USCIS delay to act even after 10 months of interview. I’m super happy that the long wait is going to pay off with a ten year. Indirectly, they safe me money on removing conditions on conditional green card. I’m happy.
On the flip side of my first sucess, my wife and I have begun mounting unimaginable pressure on USCIS to act immediately. Using all possible mediums available we’ve engaged them. So far this is what we’ve done under 72 hours.
1 Put in an Inquiry through live agent
2. Reached out to my state senator and he has written them as well.
3. Contacted the Ombudsman office and they too have reached out to them
OUTCOME:
USCIS send us an email saying our inquiry has been received and case is currently being review by an immigration officer. They went further to add that no action is needed to be taken by us.
We are confident that in the next few days our sky will trun green. This Thursday is my birthday and who knows they might give me the greatest birthday gift ever by approving me this week. Hahahah. .Like I always say, NEVER go EASY on USCIS especially when you got nothing to be afraid of.
