hiii i have same question my husband has deported on 2017 it’s already 6 years so also I need I-212 waiver from ????? because he doesn’t have a any update on i-730 😭

I’ve been waiting for I-212 tomorrow will be a year and nothin has changed in my husbands case the waiver is for forgiveness for being here the wrong way… not sure why it takes so long for one piece paper

@Benjamin Medina if the 5 yearbar is over did you reaapply I-130 or whats the embassy said or USCIS please sahre when you have update pls thanks

we contacted the embassy and all they said was we need to wait for the administrative process that the consular officer told her at the in interview is complete. so I’m assuming that means she still needs to wait for the I-212 waiver. but we’re going to try to expedite or at the very least get a better explanation because their response was very vague.

@jiya p I think you can get it expedited if it’s out of normal processing times. sorry it’s taken una so long

we sent an email to our state senator and they have emailed the embassy on our behalf to see why they don’t want to set another appointment. I will update when I get a response from the embassy.

ok so update as of November 14 2023. it looks like the embassy is going to set up an appointment for my wife. they are asking for medical evaluations. we did not go the expedited route so I’m unable to help with that sorry. keep trying and reach out to your State Senator I’m sure they can assist.
