I sent an RFE for medical, and it was received at FO on Feb 21st. no status update since 🫠

I was in a similar situation. in my case, they (assumingly) lost my submission (response to medical RFE) but never admitted it and my status never changed. My response was duly delivered by FedEx and signed by someone at uscis, but what happened next was unknown as my status online didn’t change. I’ve been contacting them to confirm that they got my response, but they never confirmed anything. I’ve documented all the service requests that I placed on the matter. Having received no confirmation from them after 60 days, I resubmitted my response to RFE with explanation of why I had to resubmit (Becouse for 60 days they couldn’t say a simple “yes” or “no” to “did you receive my correspondence?”), proves of 1st submission (FedEx printout), and what attempts I did to find out if uscis received my 1st submission (screenshots of Emma chats, and of service requests). My case was approved the same day they received my 2nd medical RFE response. Had I wait, I might have waited for a looong time as in cases they loose smth, they never admit that fact (otherwise you get a reason to sue them and get a proof, so they’ll never give a proof that they messed up directly). So you have to read between the lines and do creative action to ensure your case receive proper attention. 2nd submission is definitely not a standard way, but it can work, but only after you did reasonable attempts to bother them to locate and confirm that they received the initial correspondence

your online status should get updated to acknowledge the receipt of the RFE response. if it was delivered recently, allow some days like a week for updates on your status

@Johnson Control one week passed sent notice by mail online status showing nothing and Emma also told your case is processing and I can’t see any notice in your case I am wondering how can I find out RFE was received or not

@T P yes, my status never changed for 60+ days. it only changed afterwards when I send my mail again. some delay is normal, but if it’s a prolong delay, it’s a sign they might have no idea where it is. BTW when you ask whether they received it, and they say “the case is processing” (without directly saying “yes” or “no” as to whether they got the mail), keep asking them the same direct question and demand explicit answer

@Alice h thanks my question when you got RFE by mail that time your status was also not changed we sent RFE by mail??? when I got RFE by mail my status was nothing change that day I was confused what’s type of Mail because first I got email notice from USPS so that time I also asked to Emma about mail she told in system letter is not available in this month like RFE or any notice sent by mail your case is normally in processing and nothing need this time

@Alice h I’ve submitted the service request recently. the response came in from the FO directly stating that they indeed received the medicals. however, online status of the application has not been adjusted (as of today it still shows as RFE requested). Response to service request mentioned that I could submit another service request if there is no movement on my case within the 90 days from the response to service request.

@Neelum Yousafzai yes, my status didn’t change when I received RFE by mail either. I think actions from FO not always reflected in the online status except for final decisions
