Individuals from the enhanced vetting/screening groups have reported experiencing long periods of silence after biometrics reuse or silent updates. Unfortunately, reused biometrics and backend updates do not necessarily mean a decision is imminent. A lot of these cases seem to remain in extended review/background processing.
