Anyone from San Francisco field office got approval?
My case is paper filling case. I responded the RFE medical on August 12, and got confirmation from USPS that they received my RFE response but my case status has not been updated yet. I don’t know if it was really delivered or not. 😔Last year I got the same situation that made me lost ability to go to work, they lost my I-765 renewal docs 😩, I’m scared it will happen the same.
Has anyone experienced the same thing like this? 😢

mine RFE was delivered on July 2 and no update. so I resend my medical RFE and got delivered today at SFO was due on Sept 16.

@yellow banana 🍌 you can contact Emma by Sep 12 and say that your rfe response was delivered and it didn’t update in your case status and you are worried that it may get rejected. Some will say to wait 60 days. Call again, someone will help you to raise Service Request to the field office inquiring about the rfe response delivered or not. You will get a response by email within weeks. Keep the delivered proof with you while calling. This was my experience.

@J Z thanks for letting me know. I’ll wait for a bit more since my deadline for this RFE is Oct 28 but they told me that I should replied asap for this fiscal year in the RFE letter

@yellow banana 🍌 if your deadline is Oct 28 u can call Emma next Tuesday to raise SR. Mention about the deadline. Hopefully you will get approved soon. If Emma didn’t work, try to call Uscis customer care number. Gud luck

@yellow banana 🍌 my medical rfe also said to reply before sept 30 to be considered for this fiscal year. I replied back on Aug 12th.(Delivered same day). But no response yet. My case is also paper filing and field office is Washington field office, Fairfax. I am considering calling them if nothing changes in a week or so.

@yellow banana 🍌 yes just to be on safe side might be misplaced/lost. Just for peace of mind.
One of my friend got approved couple of days after delivered.
What address did you send your RFE to?

@Almost there I asked Emma and they told me to wait for 60 days… I’m like bruh… they told me to reply asap in order to get approved…

@J Z I just checked with usps again that they have the person signed for that RFE response. It takes so much time and money for this process. My mental health is going down hill since I started working for employer.

@yellow banana 🍌 keep the usps paper as your proof. that’s enough. Try to call Uscis on Tuesday and speak with an agent and mention about the deadline. Emma agents are 99% useless. Don’t worry. I know it’s a frustrating process. if u keep thinking abt it, u will only lose your patience and mental health.
