I just filed last month and got Biometrics done a couple days ago. Also at NBC, and filed the same forms. I understand how stressful it could be with immigration process. I believe each individual case is different so try to not let the processing time get to you. To be honest, I did many research on how they calculate that time, it’s still mysterious to me since you see people getting approved within a short time while others waiting over a couple years or more. It could be better this time if you get most of the submissions correct! Do you filed with help from an attorney this time? I’m curious if you don’t mind sharing who’s the attorney you hired last time?

I filed in January 2020, biometrics in feb 2020, ead in July 2020, and green card issued in Jan 2021. I filed by myself.

Hello! I am also in Utah. Filled October 21. Got my EAD in March 22 and AP in May 22. No interview and no green card yet… I sent a week ago the application to renew my AP

@H K sigh im so sorry... exactly what my lawyer kept saying. whole time we didn't even have a receipt notice for a yr and 2 months smh. thank God I followed my gut and called uscis myself only to find out they couldn't locate a file under our names or my husband's ssn. hoping this next few months brings you progress

@ S L yes it is really unfair that things arenot approved in the order received. I wish you a speedy process! I used the same lawyer as the first time since she was already paid but I lost trust- trying to do as much as I can for myself this time in terms of follow ups etc. Her name is Maria Mcfee

@Marta Vallejo seems like your EAD and AP was within reasonable time! hopefully that means your interview is within a couple months! fingers crossed🤞🏽 you would think that Utah would move quicker since there is less diversity but surprise surprise smh. have you used your AP without issues? And also do you remember if your processing time was within the estimated time on the website or was it shorter?

The same boat, I filled in Utah too. My PD was June 1, 2022. I did my biometrics in July 8, 2022, after that nothing… I’ve tried to expedite 3 times but no responses from USCIS.. So frustating!

@Alberto I just don't understand why larger states with higher immigration rates move quicker than this place. You'd think it would be smoother sailing over here. have you tried calling them at all to aoeak to an agent? I tried to expedite my AP back in October for my cousin's funeral and I was able to get an appointment... it was just unfortunate that I wasn't able to get the death certificate in time so had to cancel. what is the significance of the PD may I ask?

@Sadi CW I think that’s a smart move. I would probably not trust her and asked for a refund, at least partially. I also filed by myself and read through all the instructions of the forms I filled out just to make sure I didn’t miss anything. Hope your case goes smooth this time and hang in there!! Thanks for the info! Not the one I thought it was, but good to know who to avoid.

September 2021 AOS filer here. Nothing since then. Utah is a black hole.

@SLC Filer OMG! That is ridiculous! Have you gotten a receipt notice? Because I didn't get one when I filed in May 2021. I only got it the 2nd time that I resubmitted in July 2022.

@Jane ok well I guess I'm gonna wait another month nor 2 before I inquire then because I'm at the 4 month mark from biometrics

@S L yes I did pay again but that was only because the check was never cashed the first time..further proved that our file was never submitted or received

@ Sadi CW that’s good you’re not paying twice, but again, she really failed her job the first time with the very basic things such as to check if the checks being cashed or receipts number being received… 🤦🏻‍♀️ Let’s hope it goes well this time!🤞🏻

Hi Sadi. I used my AP last summer to return from my country and had zero issues at SLC airport. They knew and they stamped it super quickly. I think my times were a bit shorter than the processing times.

Sadi. Got a receipt notice and also my EAD/AP meanwhile, so I don’t really think about AOS at the moment. but yeah, it’s taking ages lol

yes I did request an expedite on my AP and the RFE is in relation to the i485

oh sorry misunderstood the question lol..my expedite was only for my AP..not sure why the RFE is listed under my i485 application

SLC filer! got EAD combo in June 2022, nothing since! they say it’s still at NBC. how did you guys get them to tell you the interview was waived?

Omg - literally just messaged another agent for the 3rd time! they told me it’s still at NBC, and that the interview was waived as well! then hurried and disconnected as soon as they said it!! did they do that to you too?

Oh yeah! Some are impatient but some are just like normal human, meaning they sympathize when they hear your family member’s possible passing, they said warm thing!! 😂

so we put in an expedite for the EAD on like June 21st and it got approved on June 24th, and then said the EAD card was being produced. they said the interview was waived June 29th! so literally a few days after the EAD was approved?!

Yeah, my PD is October 21 and my case is at NBC too still! My husband send and inquiry because the I-130 is past processing time so hopefully we have good news soon🤞🏼🤞🏼

hi, I’m from Utah too. My PD Is March 2022 . I got an RFE in August asking for the copy of my marriage license. I still don’t have my EAD and AP, but I requested an expedite for my EAD in January of this year. Almost 1 year of process

@Marta Not really. my recent RFE was only for my birth certificate which I already sent with my original packet- and I was also asked for proof regarding my AP expedite.
