I would say pay for PP. the misery of waiting is not worth it.

Yeah, my lawyer talked me out of it.

PP is great and worth it (beware it increased in February) if you’re in a hurry (like me) but then, while my I-140 was approved in 5 days, I find myself waiting and stressing out about when my AP and my spouse’s EAD will be approved (or the I-485 all together, which ever first).

No. Its been 4 months. Average processing time seems to be 8-9 months (as per their website). This means, we have to wait 1 year atleast. Also, since dates are not current, I didnt push through for PP.

@A A i dont think you will get it soon as the dates are not current for Indi!, they will work on cases which have current dates under regular. Better to upgrade to PP

@A A mine was filed in June 2023. I got approval a month ago. I wouldn’t suggest going for PP and risking it. you re almost there.

in my IOE receipt it is saying Texas Center therefore it is mentioned which center it went

also EB1B here. looks like we're in similar situations. the danger of not using pp is that if the petition is finally denied after a year of waiting and we file again, the lost year of PD will delay the GC by a very long time..

You will get a chance to appeal. Don’t worry. (hopefully, it doesnt come to that)

I filed EB1a I-140 in December 2023 and my PD is current. as you said, I am expecting a total wait time of 9-10 months to get the decision based on other cases for Indian applicants
