any updates anyone?
does anyone know or have any notes or idea in what is happening to paperwork ? I haven’t received anything AT ALL and I was told I was on pause last year. any pointers on what I should be doing for the time being because it doesn’t seem like waiting is the game to play :(

Your case is taking very long and you need to expedite it.
1) Go on uscis website and start a chat with the Chatbot Emma. Ask that you want to expedite your I-765. At a point a live agent will start chatting with you. ask to expedite based on financial hardship
2) Go on the website "Govtracks" and put in your address so you can find your local representative. click on your representatives website and then on their website Go to services and click on "help with federal agency" or something similar to that and then just follow the steps. This is how you expedite through your local congressman.
Also make sure you have documents that can prove you're going through hardship because you still don't have your EAD. Documents like bank notice or anything that just shows you're struggling.
Also have a cover letter explaining why you need to expedite your I-765.
