The visa bulletin is currently on September 2017 priority dates for the F1 category so it looks like you will have to wait another 6 months before you start at the NVC phase. (unless you’re from the Philippines) Then it will be another 2 years before you will reach the final embassy stage. So I would expect to wait about 3 more years for your visa to be approved.
