Any recent i-485 approvals at Texas Service Center?
I see a lot of i485 cases & EADs are getting approved at the National Benefits or Nebraska Center… but what about Texas? Any approvals lately? I filed concurrently i140 & i485 since Feb 2020 😭 and only i140 got approved (on April 2021). Still waiting to hear anything on i485 😫 Or maybe there’s not a lot of Texas filers in this app? Anybody has recommendations for similar apps/forums where I can see other people timelines?

I received a letter in the mail saying it was approved on April. However, the status hasn’t updated online. I know a lot of people are having the same issue.

do you mean 485, right? which category? have you submitted your medicals? I have applied in mar 20 eb1c and they just sent an rfe for 485. I haven’t got it yet so not sure what it is. I have seen a couple of eb1-a/b approvals lately.

Lol yes 485. I just updated the post. My category is EB3. I never got a medical RFE.

I’m EB3, Texas Service center.
Filed i140 in July 2020- just got it approved in Oct 2021.
Filed i1485 in Oct 2020- last update was on April 1st 2021 about fingerprints. Since then- nothing. No updates for 8 months.

@Natalia My last update online in the USCIS website for my i485 is also about fingerprints being taken on Oct 2020. No updates in 13 months.

Yesterday, I saw somebody whose receipt date was April, 2021 got approved from Texas Service Center.

@Reeva yes I’ve been seeing some cases with 2021 receipt dates where they already got approvals. Yet some of us that applied a little before Covid started (end of 2019 or early 2020) are paused or in limbo…

Hi @Reeva, could you please share where you saw the April 2021 Approval for the Texas Service Center. Was it an EAD?

@Brian, it was not EAD. It wac I-485. It was EB-1. Somebody posted on facebook.

if u filled during last year lock downs they will process ur application next year.they are trying to do away with all 2021 fillers

@Edwin how did you find out that information? // Yes I filed a month before lock down (Feb 2020). My bio appt was originally for March 2020 but due to lock downs it was moved to Oct 2020. Since then, my i140 got approved on April 2021 but my i485’s last update is from bio taken on Oct 2020.

PD dec 2020 filled jun 2021 biometrics sep 2021... Notting else now... it looks like they are putting more effort on GC than EAD... At least that's what lawfully timeline says.... GC will arrive before EAD... so weird...

Same. I submitted I-485&I-140 on 8/2020. Only I-140 got approved on 9/2021. Texas………..

hi all, I did a concurrent filing in eb1 category. biometrics was done as well. however, the USCIS status shows biometrics completed only for 765 and 485. my i131 status still shows as Received. when I reached out to USCIS they said as long as it is updated for i765, they need not update for i131. wanted to check if this is indeed the case for the concurrent filing cases. could you share any inputs?
