Waiting since Jul 2024. Current status for more than a month now is Case Remains Pending.

Aug filer here. atleast 20 people waiting for India cob in July Rd.. 25 in August atleast. uscis is prioritizing row now. not sure when they will start looking at India again

waiting since July’24. No update on either EAD or AP as well.

August filler, pd current all along and received ead,ap. 485 no update

there are no India 485 being processed right now. not sure what is going on!

my gut feeling is they will take India 485 in last 2 weeks of March. they are approving as much Row for this quarter and then do the backlogged countries

@kk bb My application went to NBC via Chicago lock box and stayed at NBC ever since then. Never got transferred to any Field Office.

@dd dd from what I heard/ read, a litigation can be filed if EB1 cases do not get settled within 1 year of filing. Does anything similar apply to writ as well? Ideally EB1 should not take longer than a year if the dates are current through out.

I think that 1 year is general guidance. some people have filed after 6 months of waiting. all we are asking for review not approval / denial. we are already at 9 months mark. by the time, we work out paperwork with law firm, it will be 10 months. so closer to 1 yr anyways.

I do think all EB cases for India are on hold. haven’t seen a single approval. may be waiting for spillover from other categories they only processing ROW for EB1A

@Bo s - No, there is no hold, few of my friends and known people got I485 approved last week on EB1A, India born applicants, please dont spread false news
