Nightmare, will you be put on unpaid leave? I am trying to extend my L1 in country even though it expired in June 2020 - my appointment and flights in London were cancelled

I will be on Temporary Sepration based on the company policy.. its like they will deactivate your name from HR system and will cancel your insurance. Once you receive the ead they can re-activate your name (to avoid the re-hairing process)

it might be different process for unpaid leave, but the temporary separation was the only available option for me

I will go on unpaid leave, I hav been with company for 20+ years - the first appointment for a new L1 is London on 4th of February. I can remain under my adjustment of status, I just can’t work or be paid.

I totally agree.. btw there is an app called Case Tracker where you could put your receipt number on the Search icon and put 500 then click on search the choose I-765.. there you could see almost 500 applicants around your priority date before/after so you could compare to see if applicants around your date is getting approved or still pending, you may also choose the graph option to compare easily

my receipt date 6th of Jan 2021, simple renewal. i expedited first on 27th of Sep which was denied the next day. then second time expedited on 19th of Oct-they asked for evidence, i sent them on 20th of Oct. And nothing till today

april 17th 2021 and then 180 days extension till 17th oct 2021

sorry 4th of May, yes expedited once in June - too early. Then again at end of September, didn’t even get chance to submit evidence from employer was rejected before then

My I485 is also outside of processing time and I140 approved a year ago……

Nothing, other than I requested another expedite on I131 and I765 - I got past first hurdle and was requested to provide evidence. It all went back Monday.

My renewal submitted 27th Jan, receipt date 4th of Feb.

look at the processing time for NBC on 140 only and compare it with TSC....its almost 1 year faster!!

I defended my PhD in 3 years. Because I had a postdoc offer right after my PhD, a great program and group and they told me that you will be on H1B 100%. That was the great idea, right?

I am EB1 C, filed concurrently in Feb 2020. I140 approved in September 2020 and have had nothing since.

Suddenly, when I was on my way to new state to file H1B case (almost preparing documents for 6 months), very last minute they said no, USCIS has a salamry limit on postdocs and we can not pay you this much
