My case is not at the Texas service center, but expecting AP approval in merely 40 days is way too early. My AP case has been pending at the National Benefits Center for the last five months, and the update shows "Fingerprints applied." You have to be patient and wait for a longer time.

Hi! My wait-time has been more than 6 months actually. It was just 40 days back that my status changed from application received to fingerprints applied. But you are right, we literally have to wait it out I guess.

mine is over 6 months now and status is still received…hang in there
