jennifer jayJan 26, 2022
can I call USCIS to ask for that
Roman /Jan 26, 2022
Svetlana, I would definitely try for an expedite in your case, especially with the political and military situation in Ukraine right now.
jennifer jayJan 26, 2022
how I can do it the expedite request
jennifer jayJan 26, 2022

jennifer jayJan 26, 2022
@syitlana when they said my case is not outside normal processing times what does at mean please
jennifer jayJan 26, 2022

Roman /Jan 26, 2022
@sabine louis you can make an expedite request your case if you have one of this reasons https://www.uscis.gov/forms/filing-guidance/how-to-make-an-expedite-request

my fiancé from Ukraine did expedite request yesterday because of the situation there but got denied. this is rediculous they don’t care at all
Svitlana YehorenkovaJan 26, 2022
yes, same here, I tried but denied, they think that war it's not a big deal to expedite the petition
Oleh KJan 26, 2022
did you call them? what option did you choose for expedite? I hope now that this expedite denial is not going to interfere with their final decision.
Svitlana YehorenkovaJan 26, 2022
@Oleh K I chat with live agent, she told that to expedite case we should have proofs that war is going on exactly in the region when fiance is living otherwise nobody will take it in consideration. We made second inquiry and as always should wait 30 days for their reply,it's rediculious, from yesterday embassy officers leaving country with their families due to Russia actions towards Ukraine, embassy probably will be closed, you can read about it on USCIS site,so now who knows when our cases will be approved and when interview will happen :((
jennifer jayJan 26, 2022
@ svitlana why embassy wanna be close
Oleh KJan 26, 2022
yeah this is ridiculous. so from what they said we have to prove that there’s a war. yeah go to any tv news station and listen on what they say. what other proof they need for me to give them.
Oleh KJan 26, 2022
also do you think that this denial will affect our case?
Svitlana YehorenkovaJan 26, 2022
@Oleh K nope, expedite request which denied has nothing to do with your petition, petition will be procedured according to their time frame
Svitlana YehorenkovaJan 26, 2022
@Sabine coz of war in Ukraine, USA government thinks that it's dangerous for American ppl who work in embassy there to stay, that's why they evacuate America officers and probably embassy will stop their job for a while or will stay working but really slow coz of many cases and less officers
jennifer jayJan 26, 2022
ok
Oleh KJan 26, 2022
got you, that’s what I thought but wanted to just make sure. What do you think we should do are you planning to submit another expedite or just wait till they review your case?
jennifer jayJan 26, 2022
@svitlana if the say my case is not outside normal processing what happened
jennifer jayJan 26, 2022
or the Wanna approved or something else
E
EDWARD VASQUEZJan 26, 2022
Smh, that's not it at all. That's why we have lawyers to help you and private companies that's helps too. If you did it on your own 75% of the time it will get denied. If you ever get the I-797c form congratulations to your all because your will be approved. Get that extra help, it won't hurt at all. Also the USCIS is working on March of 2021 cases, next month people will hear on they're cases from April 2021. I wish your all the best.
Svitlana YehorenkovaJan 26, 2022
@Sabine just wait, when it will be more than 9.5 months from your noa1 then you can make an inquiry
Svitlana YehorenkovaJan 26, 2022
@Edward thanks
jennifer jayJan 26, 2022
when it will be 9 .5 months please @ svitlana
Svitlana YehorenkovaJan 26, 2022
@Oleh K I will wait as I just made an inquiry but right after that if still nothing from their side I think to contact my lawyer coz it's already rediculious long, 10 months and still going on this delay
Oleh KJan 26, 2022
yeah I guess it’s best thing to do to contact lawyer if nothing gonna happen in the next month. I think we did what we could to try and speed it up
jennifer jayJan 26, 2022
maybe February my case wanna 9 . 5 months @ svitlana
Svitlana YehorenkovaJan 26, 2022
