Any advise please
I apply for marriage base green card back in march. April I got RFE on I-130 for proof of my husband citizenship,(dl was July 1). i responded to to the RFE June 30. Aug 11 went for biometric, august 16 I-485 got denied and today I got my work permit. For the denial should I reapply or reopen/ motion on case?

@champs d I got that same rfe and we responded online I have my EAD already. I hope my case doesn’t get denied either

read the rfe well. it wasn’t his proof of citizenship but he wasn’t qualified to sponsor you with the affidavit of financial support. so you needed another sponsor in addition to your husband. be patient and read that RFE.

proof of his residency is the reason for the denial? I thought u sent in his passport? n they still sent you the EAD after denial? what is going on? does it say case closed on the UsCIS website for your I-485?

@S L they denied me because they didn’t get my rfe in time. yes case only close on I-485 I got my work permit.

they said in the letter if I think it’s an error I could file a motion to reopen case
