anxiously waiting N400
Decision could not be made at my N400 interview, I was told to wait for a letter in the mail in the next couple of days. it has been 18 days and still no decision. I know 18 days isn't much, specially compared to how long it has taken me to get to this point. but the closest i get, the more impatient i get...
I was told no additional paperwork was needed,
officer needed my I-751, which was transferred to missouri december 2020 and approved in Missouri in Feb 2022.
Hope it doesn't take them months to transfer my file back to California 😖
Anyway jusy venting here bc i know this is the only place people understand how anxious we can get.

Trust me you are not alone!!! I’m getting tired of myself checking the status so many times a day lol. we are in the same boat. I got the same notice as you but I’m currently waiting for oath ceremony to be scheduled, it’s almost a month!!! Posting here in this community does give us some sense of relief and comfort.

according to officer, bc they didn't have my previously submitted forms. they had been transferred to a different state yrs ago bc of their work load

usually they send the letter 4-6 weeks

the officer who conducted my interview was training and did not request a copy of 2021 taxes 😏 all my previous taxes where uploaded when I filed my n400, early this yr. hope that doesn't cause a delay.

I applied for N400 while my i751 is pending..and I was interviewed on my i751 Nov 29th 2022 and N400 was canceled!!officer says because i751 need to be approved first before he can't continue with the N400..I went alone without my spouse...all he says was we will notify you via mail...for any update..16days now nothing..but I just have believe in God for mercy...please any one with such experience should be advise on what to be expected from them.

at least some of you got your interview I am still waiting meanwhile cases after mine are freaking getting interviews and people are already citizens shit makes no sense

trust me, I waa there too & the wait for approval is crazier! like they could have approved it on the spot and I could have done the oath ceremony same day.

thank you for sharing, it makes me less nervous. Not sure why it's taking so long! i keep analyzing my interview and answers to see if i did anything wrong. My marriage is real, we have been together for 14.5 yrs, married for 5.5yrs so im sure they are not questioning that
