Anxiety getting the best of me
I do not understand you get fast responses when paying legal fees but the moment you finish your payments its a struggle to get hold of your law firm or even get answers due to you. where is the empathy especiallyafter knowing your story 😩
This journey has taught me that no one truly cares, I have to be strong and tough for me.
Imagine not knowing if your work permit renewal has been sent to USCIS, or knowing why you don't have a notice of receipt after 3 months of signing and many more… yet it's a different projection to prospective clients… its truly sad… just here to rant… people pretend to care publicly but privately, they don't. I'm learning… 😪😔
God help me!

Being an immigrants takes away sympathy of those Lawyers for you, all they care about is your money. And renewals are easy you could have sent that in yourself just a one form thing..

I am sorry you are going through this, majority of these attorneys only care about their pocket, they don’t know the mental and financial pressure applicants are going through. Be calm, everything will be over soon. Here is my advise for people wanting to renew their EAD/AP, just do it yourself if you have a safe address where you can receive mails. The honest truth is that these lawyers are not doing anything in terms of renewal. So if you don’t have to use their office to receive mails then save yourself the money and time to run after them for renewal. It won’t affect your I-360 & I-485 filed. Just my piece of advice.

I am sorry about your experience. It’s very frustrating when you hardly get any info from your lawyer, immediately after making payment.
I lost my Amazon job after my work authorization expired. my attorney did not send out my application. Even if your attorney wants to send it, make sure that they give you to submit it by yourself.
I had to send out mine myself, after 13 months before I could get another EAD to use for my current job.

I got my work permit based on my concurrent filing. that is, I filed I-485 alongside my work authorization. so, they sent me my work permit about 13 months later
