ANOTHER status change.
Today my status changed to "TAKING LONGER THAN EXPECTED" I'm extremely upset that none of us can get any answers or clarification. I am speculating that it has something to do with government funding and the debt ceiling issue. I am paranoid about being stuck away from my husband.
I am more than willing to do the lifestyle in his country and would love to be able to wait out the process WITH him. However, I have some debt to pay off. So I have been trying to act with full responsibility, but with the way the world is going I am afraid of something catastrophic happening with our government and being separated indefinitely. I'm sometimes tempted to file bankruptcy and just go. I'm scared and there are no answers ANYWHERE.

Amalia I am just praying so hard. 🙏🏻 We were down to 2 months when it jumped back up to 6. That tore my heart out and now I know that we are just blowing in the wind. I'm happy to hear your outcome and it gives me a little hope. But I can't let my hopes get too high because the disappointment is excruciating when it goes the other way.

i think there.was a massive push to the field offices. i contacted USCIS and was told that when it was at a field office that they cant update the estimated time. could be long... could be short... just.depends. just keep being strong for your spouse. they need it.
