am I almost there? getting very depressed because I don’t even have the EAD, can’t work, lost nearly half my savings, lost my job after OPT expired, feeling generally very down, numb, tired 😞😞😞
tried expediting too many times to count, had senators reach out, congresswoman call, nothing nothing nothing works
haven’t even got medical RFE

I feel you. it cannot be more depressing. I also lost my job in July because my opt expired. I applied for EAD in September ‘22 and still nothing, countless expedite requests are just ignored. Was your I-485 transfered to the FO? it seems that for me, everything got stuck at the NBC.

not at all! it’s ALL at NBC still but is that normal?

@Jackson Avenue yeah same here! and idk if this is normal. I-485 is processed at the field office and the fact that all applications are still at the NBC and none of them were transfered to the field office is worrying me. i just don’t understand why they cannot process applications in the order they are received, why we all need to suffer because of this mess.
