@Natasha what status you see myProgress bar, step3 of 4 completed or interview schedule ? May I know what is your FO? I was put in queue for interview earlier in my Local(Chicago) FO on May1st, but case still with NBC as per Emma. No updates on my 485, EAD/AP approved June 10th around.

3/4 completed, and only awaits a decision, ever since biometrics in January. However, per Emma, the interview isn’t waived. FO is Charlotte. Sounds like we have the same issue. Did you have any API updates recently?

@Natasha Alp , my last API update May 20th. Emma said internal updates related. My interview was waived for now, but it may changed later depends on officer who goes thorough my case as per Emma.

sounds promising, at least it is waived for now! I don’t get it, why you are even told that you’re in the interview queue if the interview is waived. I’m planning to ask for a tier 2 officer call tomorrow, nothing to lose at this point

because of this Last API i485 update was 05/20/2025, internal checks, File with NBC, but NBC asked Local FO to accept and schedule interview on 05/01 at local FO(Chicago), 05/09 interview waived. So limbo state now, Emma agent says file with NBC and processing at Local FO.
 Agent1: Your case is currently pending with the CHICAGO FIELD OFFICE and showing your interview has been waived. Keep in mind this could change. If required, USCIS will mail you a notice informing you of where and when your scheduled interview appointment is. No further updates at this time.
 Agent2: The case is currently located at the NATIONAL BENEFITS CENTER. Interview is currently marked as waived, but at anytime during the processing a interview can be scheduled if the office feels it is needed.

Yep. This is exactly what I’m worried about. The limbo. The file getting “stuck” in between. But hey, you’re in better shape that I’m, you’ve been waiting since May while I’ve been waiting since March :)

I'm in similar state, case scheduled for interview in May as per Emma but hasn't yet been transferred to local FO yet.. don't know why 🤷🏻

@Sa Ve yep. It doesn’t even makes sense. How is it scheduled for an interview without even being transferred?

@Sa Ve yeah, but waiting to be scheduled for 5 months? it’s usually up to 3 months, tops..

I am also in similar state. API updated on 09/05/2025 after that no update. As per Emma my case is queued for an interview at local field office but still case is with NBC. My local fo is Dallas,TX. Let’s hope and prey we all get approval soon.
