I just expedited my case..even though I don’t have high hopes. We’ll get an answer within a week. I also plan to expedite the NVC stage once I get my approval 🤪.

I mentioned financial hardship of maintaining two homes in two different countries and living expenses..also mentioned safety as the political situation is unstable in country of origin..

so applying for k3 should help speed up the case?

I didn’t provide anything at this point..they will contact me if they need to see proof..

@Galia Ruffle some feathers!! If you are outside processing time, I would stay on them. They will take the mile if you give an inch!

@ Melicia Stevens..I applied for k3 almost 5 months ago..still waiting for approval..It did not help speed things up for me..I’m waiting almost 10 months now..

@aa pp My sediments exactly! I want everybody to get past this horrible wait time. It wears on your mental, physical and spiritual at times but you must hold on so you can overcome! and !&&* the k3! Did nothing for me and many others I know

@alma I asked for an expedite and was denied the same day but got approved the very next day! I am also planning on expediting at NVC as well

@Melicia the k3 did absolutely NOTHING for me but sit on someone’s desk with my I-130 until I started contacting them nonstop. I guess for some it works..

@ep pe I really feel bad for you but I’m honored to see you’re still holding on to your faith. To be honest regarding 2020 cases, I have seen approvals coming thru but I was more focused on June 2021. I hope you hear some good news sooner than later!

I didn’t expedite, it was denied within hours of asking but got approved the next day.

@r h just to update on my case..unfortunately my expedite request was denied today. I was expecting it in some way..😔

no..I spoke to the person who was putting in the request..I asked if I need to submit evidence..she said that not at this point…she told me if they need evidence someone will contact me about that…so it wasn’t that..I think you need to have either serious health reasons..serious financial loss ..or safety..like war in Ukraine..anything less than that does not qualify..

@alma I’ve also heard to keep asking for the expedite as some were approved after the 3rd-5th one but some say it may delay your case as you may be “bothering” them. If I could tell you how many times I contacted USCIS before enlisting my congressman, I was definitely “bugging” then simply off the premise of being outside processing time. I’m sorry for your news but don’t give up!

@Tracey M thanks..I am at a point where I’m just going to wait a little bit before attempting something else..I also contacted my congressman but apparently they can’t get involved because case is within normal processing time..even though i’m like what’s normal when i started off with 3-6 months “normal” and now it’s 16 months “normal” nothing about that seems normal..

@alma Yea they can’t do anything if you are still within current processing timeframe. It’s not normal. Nothing about USCIS is close to normal imo. We should not need to go to extremes to simply get approved or denied the petition in a timely manner IF they were actually working everyday. My case wasn’t touched for 363 days.. and that’s with Congress help. I think it was the timeframe I began contacting them because I became out of processing time in March this year, because CSC’s timeframes changed drastically that month and I got on board that train 🚂!! I was not going to stop until they gave me my approval which I rightfully deserved. I had nothing else to lose. They even denied my expedite within hrs but approved me the next day. For crying out loud the stupid k3 is still showing as Received 😩 THIS is who we are dealing with..

@Happy We are in the processing stage. Currently taking about 60-70 days to get DQd. I do have a expedite request out there that’s 2 weeks old but that’s where we are right now.. thinking around mid October we should be DQd by then.

When did Uganda start processing CR1? Everywhere I search it says Ugandans go to Kenya for spousal visas.. that’s why I changed the embassy at nvc.

it seems like they are processing CR1 in Kampala because my interview location says in Kampala and I did some research Yes they are processing both CR1 and IR1 but not to many two CR1 issued in 2020 and I saw one IR1 issued this year June the only thing I’m trying to know is their processing time

My interview location was also Kampala but I had them change it to Nairobi because that’s what I’ve always known since I put my petition in June 2021. They defaulted it to Kampala because he once applied for a tourist visa in Kampala but all my paperwork has always said Nairobi and they changed it in a matter of 2 days. I don’t want any delays in processing with them finding out later that interviews are done in Nairobi. Please let me know where and who told you Kampala is issuing CR1. Thank you. I know Nairobi is not behind on scheduling interviews. What I also wonder is if Uganda has physicians who are Embassy approved for the medical exam..

try to check out this website visawhen.com and go on stap 3 consulates that website has every US embassies and which type of visa are they issuing and yes Uganda have an approved physician all in all let me see how mine will go it’s 53 days now since I have been DQ anyway you can also check out on travel.state.gov monthly immigrate visa issuance statistics you’ll see back in September 2020 Uganda issued 2 CR1 visa and this year June 2022 issued 1 IR1 Visa I’m really sure they doing them in East Africa the only us embassy that are not doing CR1 and IR1 are Burundi and Somalia check me on Instagram Happy pro 1 I might give you more information

Ok thank you. Yes I checked the website you provided. I don’t trust it that much because it’s developed by a single person but I do trust that fact that I changed it to Nairobi because Kampala barely issued any CR1 visas if any. I’ll await your updates and will update you as well. Thank you.

Ok I will add you. I’m Truserenity11. Spousal visa are processed 4th in order from the top. Diversity visas come secondary. Adoption is first, and I think child under 21 but spouse in Next and there’s never a wait for a visa to be available with immediate relative. We’ll keep updated on IG if not here as well..
