After USCIS receives your RFE response, many people hear back within 30 to 60 days. Some cases are approved in just a few days or weeks, while others can take 2 to 3 months or longer depending on the type of case and which office is reviewing it. Usually the online status first changes to something like “Response To USCIS' Request For Evidence Was Received.” After that, there may be no further update until you suddenly receive an approval, another RFE, or a denial.
