after sending a request to the congressman how long do I have to wait to listen from them ?
I send the congressman from my city a request for assistance on my SIJS pending case 8 days ago I call them 2 days ago for follow up , but they just said that they reviewed and checking how is being processed he said they going to contact me shortly.. how long should I wait ?

@Andreina Elias I’m sorry I meant I’ve heard from people. I haven’t done this yet since I’m waiting for my pd to become current. My pd is Sept 2022. I will wait and then go this route since my rfe was sent and status was never updated already past a year.
