can you share interview experience?

I also had interview last week with dependent. The officer said everything looks good. However, the current status is “interview scheduled”. I am assuming it may take few weeks to few months.

I thought they normally they decide right way, what did they tell at the end of interview? can you share your experience?

I had interview today and it was approved on the spot

everything is good interview is very normal and very simple questions the officer said you are good and I will update it but you see so many files on my back I can update all one by one so I am asking how long normally it takes as the interview experience is good and very basic questions yes no from questionnaire overview your application and at the end he said you are good I will update it but so many cases i have in que i will try my best to update as soon as possible

interview was approved at spot but the update not reflect on application still the status same how long it takes to reflect as new card is being produced???

The officer was new. The interview was quick and easy. Int lasted for less than 30 minutes. I was asked if anything changes in life. I replied, that I am living in the same address and working with the same employer. I am not sure- if the officer was aware that my application is based on NIW, as few questions were asked which was directly related to my employer. such as address of employer. salary, etc. I was asked to submit paystubs, employment verification letter, and employment offer letter. The officer makes copies of EADs, Advance Paroles, Child Birth certificate, etc. In the end, the officer said, that the officer will discuss it with the supervisor and let us know. Later, we were told that it looks all good. You will hear from us. I am assuming it will take few months to get the result since FY24 is ending and workload is heavy- this is just a guess.

I would recommend to keep the documentation which supports your NIW endeavour such as publications, research profile, etc.

usually, the officer will tell you if you are being approved or if you will have to wait.

yes he said you are approved but I will update it as I have so many cases and this is the only thing he said all information and requested documents are good and he asked some questions from questionnaire yes no type questions and very basic questions about my research now nothing is changed on application status biometric is taken even on application I didn't get updates of my interview is scheduled

interview was scheduled was updated and after few days before interview finger prints were taken than nothing changed 4 days gone

I talked to Emma live agent- they told me the officer cannot guarantee the apporval. The application has to go throught the nexessary checks.

My wife (dependent) had an interview today and the status was updated to “new card is being produced” 30 min after the interview.

@Jun S which office did your wife go to the interview?
