they reopened my case on dec 21, 2023 and they approved my work permit the same day. I got a update that my I485 is actively reviewing at a field office on may 31,2024…

@skye b its not showing its reopened but the letter i received in the mail says it should be reopened, thats like almost 2 months ago still nothing case is still showing denied

the case tracker says its dismissed but the letter says it should be reopen i am confused

my case were reopened on 4/18, 130shows reopened,485 still shows denied, but was scheduled an interview for 485 next week. so nervous now

@Ree loud if you received the letter that the case is reopened then you are good. same happened to me. they reopened my case and approved the combo card. now i asked an agent emma and i 485 was transferred to a field office.

on my online account is still shows denied, when I asked uscis they said they have delays updating the accounts online

@12/19/2022 marca i tried speaking with an agent from emma and she was just out right rude, i called them twice but they were having systematic issues so I didnt get any feasible advice.

@marca did they approve the combo card as soon as it was reopened or did it take some time?

they approved the combo card in the same day or next day. try more emma agents, I tried loots of times until I found one to give me some info. aa for the phone do the trick with schedule interview, infopass etc. someone will answer.

@12/19/2022 marca yeah i tried the phone and one said it was suppose to be reopened and they are working on it. but i always wanna be sure and tried a couple more times but no luck i will continue to try to be sure. thank you guys for all the information truly appreciated
