After 550 days IT’S APPROVED!!!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻God is good🙏🏻
I started the process in 2020 (employment base GC) and my case was paused since May 2023, finally today I got the approval!!! I also submitted myself the GC though marriage (in July/2024) not sure if that case helped me to get the approval of this case.
I am extremely grateful, couldn’t stop crying seeing this!! I’ll be able to travel to my country for Christmas this year so excited!!

Well I'm asking because I'm in the same situation. For me at least the fact that card was approved while my PD was not current concerns me.
If the ultimate plan is to apply for naturalization a green card that was issued in error could come up as a negative factor during the naturalization process. The burden is entirely on the applicant to prove that they have met all the qualifications for naturalization.
According to my lawyers this theoretically could have been issued in error, so it's worth following up on before just assuming everything is all good.
USCIS is technically not suppose to action on a case while the priority date is not current.
