@Heather E you need the affidavit f of support form I-864 in the NVC stage .. this form along with the tax returns for the past 3 years will show them if you can financially support your husband when he comes to USA .. and to fill this form you have to put the number of ppl in your household & your income & any assets you have .. if the household only u and your husband then you need to be making income of 25-26k per year .. if you don’t meet the requirement income to support him then you need a joint sponsor form I-864A

ok that was very helpful thank you. in my case, I’ve been living abroad with him for 2 years now so this means I’ll definitely need the joint sponsor correct? as I don’t even have w2s now.

make sure the household size is right

example ( sponsor and spouse and your husband) = 3
