Advice for F2A inside US timeline
Hi everyone, I’d like to ask for advice and timelines from anyone who has a similar case (F2A – unmarried child under 21 adjusting status inside the U.S.). My timeline is I130 filed: December 8, 2023 I485 filed: July 3,2025 I already attended the biometric appointment on July 31,2025. Last time, I checked the progress in USCIS, the step 3-interview was completed since I haven’t received any interview requirement notice from USCIS Today, I had the notification from USCIS about my I130 has approved recently. I have a question. How long after your I-130 approval did your I-485 get approved? Any similar timelines or experiences would be very helpful. Thank you so much! #F2a

I’m in the same category. I submitted my I-485 in June 2023 and it was approved yesterday. I received an RFE to update my medical exams, and after submitting them I got my approval. It took 2 years and 6 months.

which FO Maybel Aragon? I also submitted my medical RFE 11/18/2025 Chicago FO. Waiting for approval.

Bota S, my case was processed at the National Benefits Center (Lee’s Summit, MO). I didn’t have an interview, so it was never transferred to a Field Office.

I’m in same category. I filed I-485 in Aug 2023. but my I-130 was approved June 2024. since than no update

@O C My I-130 was filed when I was outside the country, and the I-485 when I entered the country.
