advanced parole
good day everyone. please I need help. I have my advanced parole documents and I want to visit Canada. please do I need to apply for a visa and if soo how should I go about it especially what do document should I use. any experience. thanks

it depends what passport you have. some passports need a visa to enter Canada and some do not. the full list is here: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/visit-canada/entry-requirements-country.html

@kofi boat I have a Nigerian passport and I applied for Canada visa and got approved in just 11 days. I submitted my marriage certificate, advance parole itself, Invite from a friend, my ID and your application form which is pretty straight forward. you will pay a visa fee too. that's pretty much it

@kofi boat I did not do all of what @Abiodun Oladeji did. The reason you choose for applying for the visa would determine what documents they would ask for.. for me, it was visiting friends and family (I guess). they did not ask for statements of account. no letter of purpose, no employer's letter, no written letter from my wife,no hotel reservations, no airline reservations. like I said, I only submitted those listed above documents plus the invite from a friend. I had to go do biometric after submitting the application. They requested for my passport when I got approved.
