You are getting a single card which is called EAD/AP. They will write it on the card that it serves as advance parole

was your ex US citizen? under what category you applied to EAD and AP? @shari Mc

c9, he was and honestly I doubt this has anything to do with it where vawa is concerned

If not, you can only get your card when the VAWA is approved. @Gull Kaan

@Ivan b it was a new application and not a renewal. I’ve never filed anything before and that could be the reason why it took so long.

@Gull Kaan congratulations 🎉 I filed July and haven’t received biometrics as yet. I applied concurrently I 360 was the main application. I applied I 360, I 131, I 765 nd I 485

@Ivan b so what if i applied when the ex was a LpR and now he is USC what can I do? I only submit the i360.. i got my receive date Jan. 17. last year. I also did biometric etc. and now he is a usc couple months well now I also happen to get a copy of his naturalization certificate from the email we used to share, is it possible to just submit my i485 and the copy of his thing? I really need to get ead to start working. 😩

@shellyann Williamson yes, that’s what I did and I got everything earlier. you could submit to USCIS along with the I485. if he became citizen later then I believe USCIS would know. you should ask a lawyer

So it’s just work authorization? and if so, even they approve AP, is it going to be a separate paper or they may send another EA card with serves as advance parole details on i? thanks
