Me. I traveled with my advance parole, stayed 2,5 months, came back. No problem at all. I was taken to the customs, waited for 10 minutes, the officers were very kind. I think that is standard procedure. Anyways, advance parole lets you travel so it should not be a problem.

I don't know what you mean by overstay. I googled, and saw people stay around 2 months with their advance parole. I also asked my immigration lawyer, he also approved.

what documents do they ask when you travel back to the US? I only have an approved advance parole document. would this be enough? I still don’t have an EAD card only the AP document

AP document should be enough. I have a combo card (EAD+AP) that is what I showed. AP means you have a temporary/permanent residence and you are allowed to travel outside the USA, so showing that is enough. On another note, I researched and I saw that it is standard procedure that some people are directed to the customs and borders office. I was taken to the customs and borders office too where there were around 7-8 people like me. The officer was very kind, he asked me the reason for my trip, I told him that I visited my family. They did not ask any other documents. In total all of the process took 10 minutes, and I was welcomed to the USA. I hope you will have a nice stay outside the US and have a wonderful time and come back to your home in the USA!

how long advance parol took after you received the receipt notice

Mine was renewal. When I saw on the case tracker that renewal is approved, the card reached to me in a week.

@sam sing If you were given a combo card by the US government, it means that you are allowed to work and live in the US and you can travel outside the US. That right has been given to you, so it does not matter what happened it the past (B1B2 overstay) or how you got it (VAWA). You have the right to work, live and travel. As far as I know, if you do not stay outside the US too long, it is not a problem. Tell the officers you visited your family and came back to your home in the US and to work.

I think my lawyer receive mine and she said she think it’s for only one trip

it’s printed on the document- most of the times it says multiple.
