advance parole travel outside US
hi everyone
i wanted to travel outside US I have 485 pending but didn’t get travel docs approve yet so I wanted to expendite my travel documents
can I travel and return safe , kinda scared but just wanted to ask yll experience !

Do not leave the US unless you have AP or another visa status that allows re-entry (eg: L1). your I-485 will be deemed abandoned if you leave the US and unless you have another visa you cant return.

Do not travel in the sensitive time. Check out the news about Government shutdown from Oct 1,2023. I do not scare anyone. just giving my opinion.

you can travel anytime as long as you have the AP and have a clean record.
you will come back with not stress at the point of entry. the office will transfer you to another office who is a parole officer and they will check your AP to know it’s valid, stamp it then allow you to go.

updated : thanks guys for your valuable suggestions I travel during oct back to my home country with my travel docs and I came back safely here it was during October 2024 time . but for now I’m not suggesting anyone to travel it’s kinda risk.
