if you had an illegal entry, do not use the advanced parol card

I have 3 ilegal entries and I used my advance parole many many times for the last 5 years, I never had an issue coming back to the states other than being send to secondary to stamp my passport or process my parole. A week ago my adjustment was approved, waiting for my green card now 🙏🏼

@m m, 3 illegal entries? and yet able to travel with AP, I thought it’s risky leaving the country if you entered illegally.

@ال وقت Yes, thank God I was able to travel in the meantime, I waited 6 years for them to approve my adjustment. VAWA approved me since October 2019. The first time I used advance parole they did asked me how I came to the US and I said ilegal (very scary 😅) but you have to be honest, they already know, they just test you, making sure you don’t lie.

@ال وقت your welcome, I know every case is different, but I think if you don’t have criminal charges you are good. I traveled 3-4 times while my VAWA was pending. I sent my applications march 2018, got combo card may 2018, VAWA approved October 2019, after that nothing happened until August 2023 they ask RFE medicals and i601 waiver, February 1rst approved my i485

@King C I have not traveled. my lawyer has recommended to not travel.

@Eric r @m m @Cassy S so guys I was able to come back into the USA through ATL I stayed in Brazil for a week and it was very smooth process by the agent . do not be afraid. I came in through the border and my asylum is still pending but I was able to travel with AP thank God
