it’s not recommended to leave the country whilst still processing application, unless for extreme reasons (death or sickness). It’s risky, and you can be denied entry. A travel permit is only good for domestic travel within the USA. They say you can leave, but you risk application abandonment. No airport favors one over the other and entry is dealt case by case. travel at your own risk.

if you travel, yes their is a possibility for denial, but it doesn’t mean you are abandoning your application. you can be denied entry if you get in trouble while out of the country or if you are wanted for any reason. I traveled for 36 days and was parole in without a problem. I recommend you don’t travel with excessive luggage nor bring anything like meats, plants, nothing that can be a reason for them to take you into the little room and allow them to do more digging. you never know who will be conducting the investigation

travelled via SeaTac twice. Very smooth. secondary inspection takes 5mins.

I travelled with it in May after all the scare that I couldn’t make it to my dads funeral last year. after 11 days I returned and even the officer told me, if I want to use it again, I can till it expires. alot of people ve missed opportunities because of this fear….. it’s only adviceable if you are not on any form of removal proceedings and you know your decision is not close. use it and don’t be long out there. that’s the reason they give it!
