Don’t fly through Europe unless you have a visa/transit visa for that country. I’m flying through Qatar airways, you don’t need a transit visa for a layover less that 6 hours I think, you can also get transit visa on arrival. Do you research & go see your family back home.

Update: Listen! If you plan on traveling with your advance parole please use it and go see your family back home. I had amazing experience and was glad to see my family again after 6 long years. I travelled from JFK through Qatar to Nigeria, I didn’t have any issues at all and on my return Jan 16th, I went through passport control and was taken to secondary inspection, no questions were asked and my passport was stamped as paroled until 2026.
