@Kami h I returned a week ago, we were held for 2.5 hours in the secondary room inspection, the officer said that now there are new rules and all APs are sent to the supervisor for approval. Everything is fine, just expect more time between flights.

@vitaliy 123 does we need pay for advance parole?I applied my advance parole 1 month ago they rejected for paying reason.But my attorney said it happened sometime he applied again.what’s your thought about?

As someone who has been approved for SIJS, are we really sure that once you get a travel document, there won’t be any problems entering and leaving the country? Could people who have traveled and returned share their experiences? Is there any risk of not being allowed back into the country?

@md dhaly my AP based on i-485 AOS eb-3, so I don’t pay for it! I got mine renewed in April 2024 and it valid for 5 years

@harry harry who told you that? if you have pending i-485 application you can get travel document even if you’re sijs applicant.. sijs applicant get approved travel document while their i-485 is pending with uscis.

I came through walking border from Canada into the US in October with family on AP..they took about 4 hours for the supervisor approval. I flew into Washington DC in November and took 5 minutes in secondary inspection.

@harry harry my close friend he is sijs applicant and he was travel Saudi Arabia 2024 with his AP.. he has pending i-485 and visa number is not available yet he has approved i-360 and he got AP for 5 years validity.. when he was get back to re entry jfk airport cbp officer stamp his passport for parole.. this is real and he is my close friend.

@harry harry sijs applicant get advance parole when he has any emergency situation and he can travel based on his emergency situation. and nowadays visa number is not available many years for sijs applicant.. so when visa number is issued many years, in the meantime Sijs applicant have some emergency situation then what he can do while his i-485 is pending many years? that’s why he can get travel document based on his situation and he can get AP from uscis based on his i-485 pending.. by the way if sijs applicant have pending i-485 then he can get AP and make sure he has no pending case with eoir or any removal order pending and no criminal record,if everything is fine then he can travel and came back to the usa while he has pending i-485 with uscis and get AP!

@harry harry yes i am 100% sure he was travel with his AP 5 years validity in 2024.. and he wants to travel again next year but now situation is so scared this administration! so he is thinking!

@harry harry i have also pending i-131 based on my i-485 pending. so my AP is not approved yet and it’s pending almost 6 months.. let’s see what is doing USCIS for SIJS I-131..

@special immigrant juvenile u can get advance parole always if u have case w uscis not w eoir even if have pending asylum but there is always a chance that they will deny entry

@harry harry yes this is true if sijs applicant approved i-360 then he can’t get AP.. and he is not eligible to apply travel document unless he has pending i-485..

@m m not sure about 2023 in 2023 53 k sijs were approved so that adds up five more years in 2024 75k were approved that adds 7.5 years u can able to check officially on uscis website also , and they can only give 9-10thousand maximum visas a year as of now , its gonn be tough
