Advance parole / EB1 / EAD
Hi community,
Today, I received my EAD card.
I have to travel to my country in 1 month for an important matter, but I haven’t received the advance parole yet. The I-131 and I-485 are still in process.
Do you know if I can still travel with my O1 visa active until Dec-2024?
What could be the worst-case scenario?

if you travel using your O-1 your i-485 will be considered abandoned.

As far as I know you can’t travel without advance parole while adjusting status from inside the country. Even if you’re on a valid visa. If you do travel without advance parole you abandon your AOS petition/s and wasted all the money in fees/mayber lawyer and work you’ve done on them. Until you get the advance parole you are stuck in the country during AOS.
