@Montana A Sorry. I thought they were only targeting men. I think if you have everything ready they still put you ap.

@Sky Walker1 No im in the US. She went to the interview with a family member and brought all of her papers. They had no issues with the documents. I dont know why it's this delayed.

@Montana A I thought about filing a mandamus lawsuit as well but they said it costs almost $6k lol. If you guys know of a cheaper place let me know.

yup October 26, congressman was no help but they did open my case I guess to show the congressman they can’t really do anything and checking. some have been waiting 9 months others close to a year. I have a cousin who’s wife waited a year, she had a baby and ended up needing to do CRBA for the baby 😅 I was in denial that we have the same issue but I think we do. like you the officer said most 1-2 months but sometimes 5 months it depends . I think it’ll take longer

This form sucks, friend of mines has been waiting for six months since he submitted this form. Yet, still waiting.

waiting since Sep 14 for my wife visa is still refused under ap, and there is nothing to do waiting is the solution

has anyone gotten AP since last month? they gave us Ap and only asked for the DS5535,which we sent right away after the interview but still they haven’t sent us anything?

@safa A i got Ap and recived Ds5535 before my interview on 4th jan and still waiting for a reply.. i did my interview and i have been told that am in Ap because of DS 5535 thats been sent two days before my interview… usembassy dar es salam FYI

hey @Sara Saleh I have my interview on Jan 11 2024 and was refused under 221 administrative process they ask me to fill out DS5535 and I did

I did my interview here in Madrid on 5th December, they kept my Somali passport and filled the DS5535, since then no update, Refused was the subject line in my portal, haven’t checked recently and have no intention, being waiting to reunite with my two kids and wife since 12/2015.

hey I have quaestion it's been 3 weeks since I was interviewed and gave me AP and the DS 5535 they updated my case about 10 times. what does that mean it a good sign or no plz let mean know what case last updated means cuz they keep updating my case. @Sara Saleh anything new from you ?

@Ziz Qasem @Ziz Qasem for me they kept updating my case the first month every few days but then it stopped. total 7 times though. every case is different. ten times in three weeks sounds promising. inshallah it’s good news.

@Montana A last comment was Jan 19 I think still waiting. I hope he got news but wouldn’t be surprised if he’s still waiting

Even though every other case is different, anyone with ds who got an update, last time they updated mine was Dec11 and did the interview on 5thDec.

last update Jan 8. at the beginning they update 2-3 times a week and then two months later they stop, I emailed my congressman and then it went from Nov 8 to Jan 8

My fiancée's interview is on March 15th at the US embassy in Nairobi. I read y'all comments and I'm here having anxiety lol. Please keep us updated.
