No they didnt take her passport, they said they dont put visas on Somali passports.

No, we've only done the first medical exam before her interview @Zayd Ali

@J P was your wife missing any documents? They put us to AP too. No missing documents. I think they tell you to complete form 5535 if you are from certain countries, which is sad.

No we had all the documents correct, she also answered all the questiond and provided all the evidence. I think they put people in AP if they have no children yet. @sofi Ali

@J P i dont think having children or not has anything to do with AP. More so if you are from certain muslim countries they DEFINITELY put you in AP.

There are 2 types of AP. One is short, if you are missing documents. The second one is security check which takes long time.

@J P @sofi Ali having kids doesn’t matter I have one and another person has 4 kids still wife got AP. gender, age, how many kids, doesn’t matter

@Sara Saleh has there been update on your case status? it’s been a month since AP. they have updated 2xs only

@sofi Ali no new updates. last case status was April 1. it’s been 6 months now. from what I heard there won’t be another medical exam but I guess we’ll wait and see

@Sara Saleh Did you try to send inquiry on the visa navigator website, since your AP has been more than 6 months? what is your visa category?
