Adjustment Status for Administrative Closed
Hello!
I am a new member here!
I need your help.
7 years ago, our family got Administratively Closed (AC) at Immigration Court and after that, I applied and got employment authorization. I renew it every 2 years.
Now I found a company can help me to do EB-3 visa (unskill job), they said they can submit form I-485 Adjustment status for me but I do not know, do I have a change to get I-485 approval from USCIS?
Also, my brother who is US citizen filed I-130 for me from last year, and maybe it will take so long to get approval.
I need your advices what is the best thing I can do to change my status?

of course you have , they will file I- 140 for you , when you get approved you go to the court and ask the judge to terminate your case because you have a valid visa , he will and then you apply for I-485.

you have to be on a valid status in order for you to adjust status using employer. if u are in deportation and u only have a work permit that is not a valid status for purposes of adjustment from a job. if you was on student visa or any other valid status then yes u can or if u was adjusting from your status who is a citizen then you being out of status would be forgiven. don’t take advice from me or anybody from this app or any online forums try to spend some extra bucks on a competent immigration lawyer to figure out what to do or else you’ll get yourself in trouble.

Thanks for your help. I got Administrative Closed from Immigration Judge, is that considered not valid status? I have work permit and I am working now.
