Additional Evidence
Hi everyone!
My husband and I are on our I-130/CR-1 journey; Our priority date is 12/22/22 at the Nebraska service center. Like many others, I received an online access code in the mail in October. I’m curious if anyone has submitted additional evidence within their USCIS myportal. I’m considering adding all of my flight tickets from the past year in addition to what’s already provided. As the days grow longer, I find myself getting impatient and I’m wondering if submitting extra evidence would interfere with the current process.

#Texas#I-130 I added my updated DL showing address to match spouse. not sure if that made any impact to our approval.I can only say it won’t hurt to add

I haven’t but I don’t think it would hurt. I don’t think they get an alert and look at it…

hola estoy haciendo la petición para mi esposo 12/12/2022 y solo había recibido el recibo con su número de caso y apenas ayer me di cuenta que están revisando el caso y hoy dice que me enviaron una carta pidiéndome evidencia adicional no sé qué exactamente por qué hasta que no me llegue la carta noc pero ya es un paso más pienso que ya después lo aprueban y a mí nunca me enviaron el código de acceso tengo una cuenta pero no puedo ver su caso

it won’t hurt it sounds like strong evidence so just upload it, it’s has been 10 since I sent my stuff so last week I decided to update a lot of things to catch up to now, hopefully we all hear good news soon!

oh wow!!! congratulations on the approval! I saw somewhere when I was applying that you shouldn’t add too much evidence if it isn’t requested. it has now been 10 months. PD March 03,2023. got an Active Review March 07 but nothing else since then. now that I see that others are adding extra evidence and it might help i think I might add evidence.
What type of evidence do you guys think is best. Pictures? Flight tickets? joint bank account? should I submit text messages or save that for an interview?
I’m wondering if I should submit all evidence I have or save some in case they ask for more later?

I believe posting additional evidence helped speed us up. I submitted evidence on a Sunday night and Monday night we had an approval. I added all flight tickets and our information regarding me staying in Mexico City. I would say anything after you filed is available to post. in regards to saving evidence, our attorney told us to submit as much as possible to decrease the likelihood of additional evidence needed. What country is your spouse in?
