You dont need that form. To add a spouse to your pending i485, you just have to file a new i485 for your spouse along with all the supporting documents needed. But you can only do that if your priority date is current for filing.

i also have my wifes i -825 added with my i-485 but i am not sure how the process goes for her? any one with this situation? so will her i-825 will be approved after my i-485 or how it goes ?

I-824 says its for action on an approved application, so i dont get why you guys are looking at this form if your i485 is still pending. Not sure if I’m missing something.

ur filing date needs to be current thet is all

@Sag PK you can still file a I-824 with a pending I-485. it will remain pending until your 485 is approved.

to submit i-824, you must be Current for filing
