If your AD card has 2 years validation, and the letter states u can travel for up to a year how does that work? Does the year starts when u start traveling or when you AD was approved? #

I think you meant AP - advance parole. AP is only valid from & until the dates mentioned on the AP card. It doesn’t matter when you travel, where you travel, how long you travel for.
