My advice is check the uscis calculator to see if you're eligible to apply for citizenship. If you apply before your eligibility you might be denied and waste your time and money.

Jill that’s for people who are still married to their American citizen spouse. They can apply for citizenship at 2 years 9 months even with a conditional green card or while waiting to remove conditions. If you are divorced it’s 5 years from the day you became a green card holder. sorry I should have been clearer

As I told you. The eligibility start count when your first GC was issued. Doesn't matter if you got your GC yesterday but are married 20yrs. Google uscis calculator citizenship eligibility... You drop the date of your first GC and the website will tell you when can u apply.
