A visitor visa for helping with the pregnancy of a daughter in law
Hlw family,
my wife is pregnant. I want to bring my mom from my homecountry by visitor visa. Anyone has any idea will it be helpful if my mom mention to the visa officer that she needs to assist her daughter in law for pregnancy? will it be helpful to obtain the visa? if yes, what kind of documents she needs to show to the officer? thank you in advance.

I've heard the opposite. if you mention that she's coming over to help with the pregnancy/baby that's taking away a citizen's job. All the friends who brought their parents over asked them specifically to not mention any pregnancy/illness. not sure how true it is

on the contrary, my mum got her visa by mentioning she was coming to help out with baby. I think this all depends on the officer. best of luck
