700 days and counting
every time I check nothing changes, every time I speak with the lawyer nothing changes. just told to wait. thought about contacting our local congressman to see if they can help.
my worry is our lawyers have done something wrong. but there is no way to really check as we are inside the processing time. we’ve had friends arrive at similar times, on the same visa and have obtained their green card last year and the year before. perhaps we are just unlucky. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. it would be such a weight lifted off my shoulders if we can gain green card status. my young sons only know America now. wishing you all well in this journey

yea it’s very frustrating. I have kids too here. some people applied 5 months after me and got it within 4 months and I am still waiting

Yes some have been unlucky because of unknown reasons. I have been waiting for close to 550 days now. I see people who applied one year after me in sane category got approved.

march 2022 for biometrics. no movement, no RFE or anything since. only progress has been travel 131 updates and EAD approvals and renewals. it’s a shame when they work on something from your file they can’t look at everything at the same time

how is your PD only 1 month before you were able to file for I-485? That would mean your PERM only took 1 month? something doesn’t add up

dirk, that’s a good question. sorry, I may have the PD date incorrect then. we filed the 485 in FEB 2022. which forms shows the Pd date?

mine since 2020, I am current. it’s really frustrating. I regret coming to this country. all they do is renew my EAD so I can continue paying tax. skilled worker.

PD is current but still no activity at all. lawyers just say it’s a waiting game. nothing can be done
